Who is responsible
Brook Logan is the controller of personal information collected through this website. Questions or rights requests can be sent to hello@brooklogan.com.
Information collected
The site collects information you choose to provide. Collaboration enquiries can include your name, email address, company, project type, budget range, desired date and message. Newsletter signups collect an email address.
Basic technical information may also be processed by the hosting provider to deliver and secure the site, such as an IP address, request time, browser type and requested page.
Why information is used
Enquiry information is used to assess and respond to a project request. This processing is based on taking steps at your request before a possible contract and, where appropriate, legitimate interests in managing genuine business enquiries.
Newsletter details are used only when you ask to receive updates and are processed on the basis of consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time using the unsubscribe method included with messages or by contacting the address above.
Sharing and international processing
Information may be handled by service providers used for hosting, security, enquiry delivery and email distribution. They should receive only what is needed to provide their service and act under appropriate contractual terms.
Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this applies, appropriate transfer protections should be confirmed with the selected provider before the live forms are connected.
Retention
Unsuccessful or inactive collaboration enquiries should normally be removed within 24 months, unless they must be kept for legal, accounting or dispute purposes. Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe or the list is closed. Technical security records may be kept for shorter periods set by the hosting provider.
Cookies and local storage
The public site does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. If you choose to enter the age-restricted area, the site stores a first-party acknowledgement in local storage and a cookie so it can remember that choice. This is a functional preference, not verified proof of age, and it can be cleared from the age-restricted page or through your browser settings.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information, object to certain processing, receive portable data, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
To exercise a right, email hello@brooklogan.com. Identity may need to be confirmed before a request is completed.
Third-party links and updates
This site links to services operated by other organisations. Their own privacy notices apply after you leave this site. This notice may be updated when providers, forms or business practices change; the effective date above will be revised when that happens.
